Got space in the lot at 8:00 (on a busy Saturday!) cars lining the road for quite a ways when we returned mid day. |

Low water currently, the first bridged brook is no more than a trickle. |

Great trail for dogs. We saw many happy canines. |

Friggin deer flies are a PITA at the moment. Mosquitos in parking lot- not noticeable elsewhere. |

It doesn't get much better than this! Dry conditions for a couple weeks have the trails better than I have seen in a long time. Great, warm day brought out the masses. Super busy day in the notch- we didn't get an early enough start to avoid the congestion on the descent but it was a great day to hike, so we didn't mind one bit. |
