Comments
Comments: Started in 2-3 inches of powder and it gradually got deeper as we went up. One person had bare booted ahead of us but he/she came from Ethan Pond. At the junction the Willey Range trail was unbroken powder 8-10 inches deep. We made it into some of the steeper sections but crampons weren't working too well as the powder was too deep and if you didn't have very aggressive crampons on your snowshoes it became very difficult. We turned around about 1/2 mile from the summit and carefully made our way down.
