Date of Hike: Thursday, July 25, 2019
Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Summertime tourism is in effect, so plan accordingly. I got there at noontime, and the lot was tight. Later that afternoon, mine was one of two cars.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The various brooks and drainages are all at a stage you'd expect for mid-summer. If you get your feet wet, it's only because you want to cool off. They are, however, at a rate that will allow easy filling of your water bottle, should you need it.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A couple of minor blow-downs that are easily stepped around or over.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: One incredibly happy pup, out with mum and dad.
Bugs
Bugs: Out there, of course, but not at all ferocious.

Comments
Comments: Last year, I went on a cloudy day that was just on the dry side of wanting to rain, and experienced views from the outlooks that were to be expected. Today, the sun was out, and so too were the views. Trails were muddy in spots, but all could be reasonably avoided by stepping on stones, roots and boughs, or the like. Overall, though, trails were in fine shape.

Photos are on my blog, as always.
