As long as you don't want to park at Mt. Major, you're fine. |

 | Water Crossing Notes: |
The *only* places with any water were the stream overflow along the Old Stage Road (swim) and one spot along Jesus Valley (bypass). Trivial. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
These trails desperately need a lot of love. Trailbeds were never obscured, but only Jesus Valley (which is basically a snowmobile trail) was wide enough. Most of where we walked needs heavy brushing. One small blowdown cleared. Branches and debris in trail. Jesus Valley was evidently cleared by people who don't know to cut trees low -- lots of dangerous stumps just off the trail. |

Deer flies mainly. Midges in my eyes. My new bug jacket works well for protection, but is surprisingly hot. |

Met up with a dozen or so Thursday hikers from Concord. They were headed up the Precipice Path to Straightback South and Anna. I can't stress strongly enough above how much brushing is needed. |
