Comments
Comments: A glorious day to hike Jefferson yesterday! Caps is in great shape - a little brushy in the wooded section in a few spots but nothing crazy or lasting but 30-50' or so. Hardly any mud on trail, and all is entirely avoidable with ease. One blowdown which I almost didn't notice because I'm 5'0" and walked right under it!). Saw approx 20 other hikers throughout the day, most only hiking Jefferson out/back via Caps, but a couple adding on other peaks! A great hike for those seeking a 4000 footer which doesn't require an entire day.
