From where we pulled over, just across from two huge blow downs, we took a heading due west and started our bushwhack. Pretty thick growth as we crossed through what may have been an old logging area, then headed up moderately through clear woods. We soon reached another overgrown road which we joined until we were able to enter clear woods once again. As we approached the height of land, we emerged onto them grassy border swath. We were a little south of the highpoint so walked along the swath to the northern bump, locating the jar just a few feet into the woods on the USA side. Signed in and took a heading back to our car, managing to stay in clear woods, only having to cross rather than follow those overgrown roads we had tangled with on the way up. Came out of the woods right between the two big blowdowns across from our car. Nice, SHORT, bushwhack! |
