Comments
Comments: We went around the gate, soon cutting into the woods to our right, heading north towards the summit. We soon came out onto a very overgrown woods road which continued on that same heading. Very tall growth but something or someone had gone up it recently which made for slightly easier going. At a height of land, there was a choice of three “roads”; we found the furthest left to be headed more directly for the high point. We followed it most of the rest of the way, jumping into the woods a few times as respite from wrestling the vegetation! Eventually we came to nice clear woods and followed a faint herd path right to the peak register jar. Signed in and pretty much followed our way back the way we had come up. Up and down in about 50 minutes. Thanks to Brian Bond for the great directions!
