|Date of Hike:

|Parking/Access Road Notes:
||Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
|Water Crossing Notes:
|Trail Maintenance Notes:
||Coming down Mt Tripyramid Trail from the south slide was lovely. No real obstacles, a fine, soft bed of leaf litter underfoot. On the ridge, similarly, the trail was in fine shape. |
||Killer mosquitoes near the brooks during feeding time. |
|Lost and Found:
||A pair of white heart-shaped sunglasses, and a piece off a bicycle, both left at the trailhead sign. ||
||I can check that box. The slides are rough, slow going, and every bit as hard as people say they are. Certainly not for the faint of heart. Glad I did them, but I'll be moving along now... |
For all the suffering, the views were superlative, and only got better as I ascended. Unfortunately, cold winter air would provide the best views, but they coincidentally have the worst footing. You can't have it all.
Photos and a longer write-up are on my blog.
