Coming down Mt Tripyramid Trail from the south slide was lovely. No real obstacles, a fine, soft bed of leaf litter underfoot. On the ridge, similarly, the trail was in fine shape. |

Killer mosquitoes near the brooks during feeding time. |

A pair of white heart-shaped sunglasses, and a piece off a bicycle, both left at the trailhead sign. |

I can check that box. The slides are rough, slow going, and every bit as hard as people say they are. Certainly not for the faint of heart. Glad I did them, but I'll be moving along now...
For all the suffering, the views were superlative, and only got better as I ascended. Unfortunately, cold winter air would provide the best views, but they coincidentally have the worst footing. You can't have it all.
