Crossing at trailhead was rock hoppable. Other crossings could be crossed on snowbridges. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Took out a few small blowdowns. Some debris along the ridge that will likely remain until the snowpack recedes. Sosman (left) option is better than Tecumseh (right) at the moment due to footbed and blowdowns. |

| Comments: |
About 1-3" of new powder from the storm earlier in the week. The first portion of the Tecumseh Trail had sticky snow, however upon nearing the ski trail vista, it was more along the lines of packed powder. Nice snowshoe track. Ascended via Tecumseh Trail to summit (right at sign...not popular in winter) - decent amount of blowdown, sideslope, etc. Left (Sosman) is a much better option, though there are some blowdowns/leaners (trimmed one). Still multiple feet of snow out there, with upper elevations having near peak amounts of snowpack. |
