Large lengthwise blowdown on the Red Trail relo. Noted that someone had blocked a waterbar on the Red Trail with a rock; I removed the obstruction. |

Mosquitoes vexing when stopped. Deer flies were bad throughout (even biting through shirt) |

Apart from the start of the Gunstock Mountain Trail, the trails on this loop were mostly dry and in good shape thanks to the countless hours the BRATTS have put into them over the years. Blueberries are not yet in bloom, but a few random tart ones can be located.
Hot, hazy, humid afternoon with limited views. |
