Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All water crossings were low and easily rock-hoppable
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Bunnell Notch and Killkenny leading to Cabot is very well maintained. Killkenny and Unknown Pond back to the lot has quite a few blowdowns that could be taken care of but nothing too difficult to manage.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Brought my doggo for his first NH48 but didn't see any others.
Bugs
Bugs: Biblical. Mosquitos down low. Black flies up top. 100% DEET helped but the mosquitos enjoyed flying into my ear canals and eyes. It was crazy annoying and by the end of the day there was a constant stream of obscenities spewing forth from my mouth. As a result I had my fastest overall pace per mile of all of 38 of the NH48 I've done so far. My kingdom for a breeze to keep them at bay....
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: N/A

Comments
Comments: One of the easier hikes so far, bugs not withstanding. Views from the Horn were ok but the humidity softened the distant peaks
