A wonderful hike to Isolation via Glen Boulder and Davis Path. This was round four up to Isolation and this is route is beautiful - such stunning views that make the hard day hike worth it. Overall trails are in great condition. Davis Path only has some wet sections as you near closer to Isolation Summit. Mostly avoidable mud/puddles by way of roots and rocks on trail sticking up through with a few deeper areas that will probably get your feet a bit muddy. The black flies, mosquitoes, and occasional horsefly are relentless. Bug net was utilized for most of the hike and many hikers we saw kept saying the head net was a great idea (yes, I thought so ha!). |
