Comments
Comments: Little Mount Washington is an excellent ledgy outlook on the eastern side of an unnamed 1,980 ft. peak just east of Chase Pond.

From the parking I walked up the unmaintained section of Miller Pond Road to Grantham Four Corners, where there is a very nice snowmobile warming hut. I turned right onto Croydon Turnpike, now NH Snowmobile Corridor 5. Easy walking along this stretch with a few puddles to dodge. It skirts Chase Pond, where there is a good view over to Chase Pond Peak. Past the pond, the turnpike gets really muddy and wet. At a prominent four way junction, I turned right onto a grassy snowmobile trail headed northeast. This climbed moderately to a fork, where an ATV trail diverges right (I've read of small signs here indicating a viewpoint, but I didn't see them). This ATV trail climbed moderately up to the main ledges, where there are excellent views east to Mts. Cardigan, Kearsarge and Sunapee.

From the ledges, I did a short open woods bushwhack to the true summit of the peak, which is an uplifted ledge. I considered bushwhacking down the other side to rejoin the turnpike, but it was too hot. I returned to the ledges and followed the same route out.
