| Water Crossing Notes: |
One crossing of the Oliverian brook, shallow and slow running as of this post, no issues |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails in great shape. Just an FYI however..... most of the trails in this report are in the Sandwich Range Wilderness area and as such are not marked and maintained like non wilderness area trails ie: scant blazes, no bridges a streams / rivers, etc. Trails can be hard to follow in these areas. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw one happy guy on the summit. |
| Bugs: |
The mozzies were relentless and unstoppable until the top half of the Square Ledge trail. I had bug sprayed my right hand and was attempting to spray my left and noticed two mozzies had already landed on were I just sprayed. |

Fun trip. Stayed in Woodstock and got to the trailhead by 0830h. Only car in the lot on arrival. Only one other car in lot when we left at 1700h. The OBT was flat and just a woods walk. The PCO was also quite flat until just a little before SLT. There was a stretch of some decent mud on the OBT in the boggy areas. The real climbing begins at SLT and the Walden / loop trails. The weather was great, views were also great. A tad too hot for me on the return but still no complaints |
