Black flies were biting, but not nearly as bad as late last week. |

Trails were generally dry with the exception of the ridge, where there are still a few mud bogs.
Two small patches of snow remain on the ski slopes, but not for much longer.
Ski trail grass/weeds are getting high, so gravel access roads are the best way to go if using the slopes (as opposed to going straight down...not a good idea, especially due to lots of hidden holes, etc.). Lots of wildflowers in bloom and strawberries are starting to ripen.
Hot afternoon, but the breeze made things bearable. |
