Comments
Comments: Ascended the ski area via the access road (Lower Polecat to Catnap to Middle Polecat to Tomcat to Upper Polecat), which was mostly dry and had lots of wildflowers in bloom. Took the short bushwhack from the top turn of Polecat to cut into the Wildcat Ridge Trail (and thus only climb D once).

Wildcat Ridge Trail had plenty of mud and slippery ledge. Some dry stretches, but plenty of muck. Snow still visible in Tucks, as well as Gulf of Slides and east side of Jefferson.

Hot afternoon/evening, but breeze made things bearable.
