This was a great route - I spotted a bike at the gate at Carriage road. The traverse from Gilford Elementary over Rowe, G-Stock, Belknap and Piper and then down to the gate came in at approx 7 miles. Easy route with very well marked trails. Check out the map of the belknap range http://belknaprangetrails.org/belknap-range-trail-map/. Plenty of opportunity to modify the route - you are really only committed to summiting Gunstock - from there you have several options to get down to the gate and an easy 2.2 mile roll on a bike down hill to the parking lot at GES. |
