First car in Tripoli Road lot at 7:00. Upon return at 11:30 there were 3-4 cars. Tripoli Road (from Exit 31) in pretty good shape. A fair number of roadside campers. |

2 crossings at start of trail were rock-hoppable |

Trail in good shape. No obstructions. Some minor mud in saddle before West Tecumseh and then on the ridge |

Saw a couple. |

 | Bugs: |
Skeeters in the parking lot but fewer bugs the higher I went. Maybe we are nearing the end of what has been an intense bug season. |

Got back to car literally a minute before it started raining. Passed a few people on the trail. Hopefully, the thunderstorm/downpours were not too bad. |
