Comments
Comments: Did a lollipop loop of Old Dicey Road, Elwell Trail, Carter-Gibbs, and Oregon Mountain Trail over to Mowglis Mountain before heading back down the Elwell Trail to Old Dicey Road.

Blowdowns noted last month are now cleared (thank you, Alex&Ria).

Blazing and signage on all sections is in good shape -- confirmed that trails are clear and easy to follow, including at intersection of Elwell and Carter-Gibbs.

Also confirmed good condition of hand-hold rope on ledgy section of Carter-Gibbs Trail (rope was installed new last year).

Cleared/flagged a short relocation on Elwell Trail about half-way between Old Dicey Road and Mowglis Mountain summit -- will blaze this later and brush in old trail, as well as remove old blazes. Relocation is nice, soft footbed, easy grade, that avoids a nasty, slippery pitch into a drainage. Each end of relocation has small cairn.

This 1.1-mile section of Elwell Trail has been getting some attention in the past year -- it's made a nice difference for doing quiet loops of Elwell/Oregon Mountain Trail between Mowglis Mountain and Oregon Mountain. (The only downside is the Old Dicey Road walk at the beginning.)
