 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
We drove Indian Stream Rd for 14.2 miles (others clocked a bit more but this is it) turning left onto Perley Rd, traveled by Terrell Pond on left, then took the left at the next fork, then left at the next fork again, followed road as it took a hard right and drove to the height of land and gate. At this location we hit Jobbers Brook – North Peak (Monument 500 + 501), after hitting the recognized high point we jumped back in the truck and drove back to the road that we passed Terrell Pond. For the out you would go right but to hit Dube Brook Mountain turn right and follow it just past the height of land just northeast of the summit. |

Jobbers Brook – North Peak (Monument 500 + 501) and Dube Brook Mountain (Monument 496 + 497)
Jobbers Brook – North Peak. From our parking spot we crossed the gate and soon turned north bushwhacking in nice woods, then picking up in an overgrown grassy wood’s road, hit some previously logged and picker bush areas and hitting the northern end of the summit and the recognized high point. On our return trip we dropped off the summit east with some great views, ran into some swampy areas before hitting the truck.
Dube Brook Mountain. From our parking area we started bushwhacked west at moderate grade mostly on old overgrown skidder roads. Those stopped just below the summit as it turned to nice woods. Previously peak baggers posted about the two summit bumps stating the north elevation was higher, but the summit jar was placed on the southern bump. Well, someone been up there clearing brush on the US side of the US/Canadian border swath and removed the summit jar. After hitting both summits bumps several times with altimeter, we determined the northern bump was higher and now recognized with a new jar
