Black flies were vexing at times on the trail, but otherwise not too bad. Wind was enough on the ski slopes to generally keep them away. Did not note many mosquitoes. |

| Comments: |
The lower portion of the mountain was relatively dry, however the higher elevations were damp from yesterday's rain and lingering fog with wide mud pits in the usual places on the ridge.
Ski slope grass is getting tall, so the gravel access roads are the best route. Green Peak is a nice side trip with good directional views. High Country is loaded with bluets, plentiful enough to give portions of it a blue tint from afar. |
