We got a noon start and headed up the Webster-Jackson trail. Temp at the trailhead was 31F. The whole trail was well packed. The snow was soft in the sunnier sections but still no need for snowshoes. As long as you stayed on the trail it was quite solid. Once we broke out into the open near the summit it was much colder and windy. |
