Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All crossings were easy rock hops, even the unbridged crossing of Cascade Brook!
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: No blowdowns of note on this route, some fresh axe work was evident. Some slick rock sections on upper Lonesome Lake near Coppermine Col, over the Cannonballs, and upper Kinsman Pond. Some really good, and some really questionable bog bridging on Kinsman Ridge. Hobblebush encroaching on some sections of Pemi Trail.
Dog-Related Notes

Bugs
Bugs: Getting better? For whatever reason, they weren't bad. Some mosquitoes down low, a few black flies up higher, breezes on the ridge.

Comments
Comments: Cleaning up some trails west of 93, brought me to two old favorites, the Cannonballs section of Kinsman Ridge, and Kinsman Pond. Plenty of folks out on lower Lonesome Lake, then a sprinkling of people here and there along the rest of the route. The Cannonballs were as beautiful and rough as I remember them being! Glad to get out, especially on the ridge-top.
