Significant breeze on the way up kept the flies tolerable, and there were no problems at all on the quite windy summit. On the way down, mosquitoes and blackflies became a significant pest and definitely helped us hoof it out of there quickly! |

Breathtakingly beautiful day, with spectacular summit views. Last time I hiked this one solo, and got socked in at the top. This time hiked with my friend David, his son Liam and my son Jacob, both 16. We all got to enjoy the amazing 360-degree views. Spent an hour on the summit soaking them in, then a brisk descent due to the suddenly relentless bugs. |
