Many water crossings, but all doable without problem. Rocks are slick to climb across--trekking poles will help. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Super well maintained. Well marked. Seems like someone just came through last week and cleared away (a couple fresh falls but all easy to climb over). |

Bugs on the lower sections due to standing water. |

| Comments: |
Great hike. Starts out flat and dry for the first 2.5 miles. Next 1.1 miles gets progressively more wet with some walking up runoff channels. Final approach to summit and decent are very slick. Path from North Hancock (Hancock) to South Hancock is muddy and hard to get around due to the thin trail---not unbearable, just a nuisance.
Great hike! |
