Lots of pooches out; all friendly except for one if you tried to say hello (but it was leashed). |

| Bugs: |
no problem with bugs at summit due to steady wind, but biting and vicious along the trail if you were stopped for too long. |

found red bandanna on a large cairn shortly after starting down Carriage Road- turned it i at Ravine Lodge. |
