Trail was mostly in good shape; the trail between peaks is a bit overgrown in spots. Saw maintainers out down low - super appreciate your efforts. Quite a bit of mud, but most of it was avoidable with rocks and roots. |

Wanted to grab these two after Osceola before heading home. First 3.5 miles are pretty easy, but it's steep up both peaks. Did it clockwise; think I'd have preferred to do it the reverse way. Quite a bit of mud but mostly avoidable, and a few sections with quite a bit of standing/running water. For a pair of 4000 footers it's a relatively easy hike. Lots of hikers out today. Today was the first hike of the year where I didn't see any snow - finally. |
