| Water Crossing Notes: |
Only one stream of concern, half way up...detoured upstrean, slightly for an easier rock hop across. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail well maintained, and met a very pleasent trail groomer at work keeping any left over standing water (not much) channeled off the trail. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw no dogs, or evidence there of. |
| Bugs: |
This otherwise wonderful hike was plagued with swarms of bugs, that, although wasn't bad to start, actually got worse with altitude. Our bug nets probably saved our lives! We only saw 4 other hikers, and the bugs might have had something to do with it! Suggest long sleaves and pants, a bug net, and choice of bug dope, to minimize the suffering, while bug season is in progress.
