We only encountered mosquitoes on the lower 1.5 mile or so of the trail -- but they were bad on that stretch! |

Lovely hike, first time on this trail. We enjoyed going up the steep section by the beautiful cascades (Mom appreciated that part a lot less going down...). We found the trail fairly easy and gradual after the initial steep climb to the shelter. Windy but wonderful on top. |
