Trails
Trails: Benton Trail
Date of Hike
Date of Hike: Sunday, June 9, 2019
Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Note that the road that apparently used to go to the Benton Trail is now a footpath only, adding somewhere between 1.2 and 1.5 miles of one way hiking, albeit on flat ground. There is a parking area at the hairpin turn on Tunnel Stream Road with a brown hiker sign, but nothing else to indicate Benton Trail is ahead. If you walk the old road/current footpath, you will come across the Benton Trail on your left (3.6 miles to the peak).

Comments
Comments: Beautiful trail on a beautiful mountain. Very nice lookout on left about a mile from trailhead.

Trail in very good condition, lightly traveled, overall dry with a little bit of mud in places, lots of pine needles on trail making for a soft footbed
