Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All of the water crossings were passable without getting your feet or boots wet.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: There were multiple tree blow downs, but all were passable with only minor detours. The Bondcliff trail was in incredibly good shape.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: There were a few dogs on the trail, but all were friendly.
Bugs: The black flies were bad at the lower elevations especially on the Lincoln Woods trial.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: None.
Comments: It was a perfect day and a great hike. The trails were in very good shape overall. There were several patches of snow on the trails, but they were all passable without any traction. The Zealand and Bonds traverse is a great hike that I would recommend to anyone who wants a long hike without too much vertical gain.
