Saw 3 happy dogs on the summit. |

Parking lot had a few black flies as did the summit (although the ever-present breeze kept them at bay). The trail had little to no issues. |

| Comments: |
Some very wet and trail-wide muddy sections in the beginning. As you ascend, any other mud patches are smaller, drier and less frequent. I found I could keep my boots muddy but not soaked. Some small snow patches in the woods but the trail is dry. The wind was steady at the top which kept the flies down. Otherwise, besides the amazing weather we saw a spruce grouse 50 feet from the summit! |
