Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: nothing of any real note. all easily hopped over
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: some absolute storm devastation from years past on the trail from the Cliffs to the Falls Trail. lots of little herd paths being used to avoid downed trees and such. the Arethusa Falls trail down into the Falls area is in need of some updating. lots of 2-3 foot wet drops lots of exposed rebar for someone to hurt themselves upon. the two bridges are brand new now.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: many well behaved pups in the area
Bugs
Bugs: they were around but the constant wind gusts and cooler temps (40-50) kept them in check.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found-peace and tranquility at the cliff lookout.

Comments
Comments: rock climbers be aware that the Cliffs are off limits until August time frame. there are some nesting Falcons up there.
It was nice to be on this trail before the hordes descend and ruin the experience. we had the cliffs to ourselves for an hour before we left and still didn't see anyone for at least a mile. Watched the train go under us at a bit after Noon.
When we got to the Falls, there were only about 15 people total in the area. about 8 of us at the bottom and the rest at the top of the Falls. Wish the silly kids had had the intelligence & courtesy to move a bit so some of us could take some "clean" photos. but alas...
