Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: One dog (jingo) on Mt Adams-hope the J&J team is doing ok after having to cut their ascent short.
Bugs: None this morning; some at lower part of airline this afternoon.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Bivy sack(?) weighted down with rock at trail intersection with gulfside. Boston Red Sox sweatshirt found and left hanging along airline trail. List my two leki hiking poles on Adams while scrambling up and down-they’re yours if you find them.
Comments: Breezy day up top. Wind really hit once you reached alpine and heavy rime ice on Adams all the way from airline to summit. Madison was the beneficiary of some sun so rine ice was melted or not nearly as bad as Adams. There were folks out today on both summits; 6 headed down this morning, 3 others on Adams while I was and 4 folks on Madison. On the way down I passed 7 folks (3 groups) headed up.
