Comments
Comments: Second time doing this loop, up the Thumbs Down Trail, passing by Jack Pond, which is quite scenic, got to the top, took spur about a quarter miles to the right up Thumb Peak, great views from there, of Monadnock, Pack Monadnock etc. I recommend head this way first, then over Thumbs Up to Skatatuckee Peak, which is a flattish mile and then up a bit, there you do have some views over the trees of the same ridges and Crotched, but this summmit needs some tree cutting otherwise you are going to loose the Outlook pretty quick. Pay attention also to the trail signs as all the main trails come there including Cadot which I haven't taken.

There are plenty of stone walls and boulders to hike by and around, a scenic trip overall. 5 mile loop and about a 900 foot gain, good bang for your buck I think.
