Comments
Comments: A great day for a hike up and down Madison via primarily airline (Osgood to summit and detour to star lake via star lake trail). Wet conditions but nothing out of the ordinary for the whites. I saw several large groups headed up to the hut and only one other day hiker. I refilled my water at the hut which is open full service. Perfect weather until about 1 pm when the wind picked up and snow flurries started just as I hit treeline. Made it back to the car and the rain started so overall I had great timing. A beautiful hike I highly recommend.
