rough and rocky parking lot at the trail head..spur trail from plaque area probably a better choice though still tight |

couple of minor brooklets, no issue |

trail well in good shape ..lots of working water bars in the steeper sections have kept foot bed mostly decent with scattered trail creep |

cooper had a great hike..lots of water..a few splashes as well..other dogs we met all on leash and controlled |

skeets particularly noted in the steep section and parking lot..no black flies.. |

i have recently moved to plymouth so looking for a go to back yard hike. Rumney Rattlesnake offers good elevation gain, mostly nice footbed, while there were no views today the open ledges on the upper loop worth a repeat visit. looks like blue berry heaven as well. we'll be back |
