Coming down the west leg of Jesus Valley Beaver Pond Tr there was one log crossing requiring some balance. |

Bring your headnet for the black flies. I didn't pick up any ticks, or see any today. But I did use clothing treated with Permethrin and had socks over cuffs, and long sleeves. The trail was pretty dry with only minor mud, and I didn't have to brush up against any grasses or brush. |

A tip for you young guys trying to meet the trail goddess of your dreams: Put a couple spare $1.50 Walmart head nets in your pack. They're light, and they're a lot cheaper than dinner. |
