| Comments: |
Some mud and running water as expected, but nothing significant. I wore gaiters but probably didn't need them.
A couple stretches of snow left on the ridge ascending the steeps to the summit. They were fine on the way up, but descending I had to take a little time to think about my next steps. I did post hole to the knee once on the way down.
Very chilly and windy on the summit, but great 360 views. Could see smoke from a campfire at 13 falls.
We saw no one until 1/2 way through the switchbacks on the way down, and then the flood gates opened.
Lot was overflowing which I thought strange for a weekday. Probably 20-25 cars. |
