Using the Webster Cliff trailhead that leaves the east side of U.S. 302 (opposite Willey House Station Rd.), I did a simple out-and-back hike to the first open ledges on the south end of Mt. Webster.
The Webster Cliff trail was in excellent condition from the trailhead all the way to the first open ledges.
Although it’s not a problem, perhaps it should at least be mentioned that within the first 0.1 mile of leaving the trailhead, there is a huge blowdown between U.S. 302 and the 4000-footer bridge. However, it is easily stepped-over.
