| Water Crossing Notes: |
Pretty standard/easy. Nothing remarkable. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The number of blue blazes on Saco River Trail is almost comical. A couple of larger blow downs that could be cut out, but there's nothing that impedes traveling on the trail. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Plenty of water for them, easy going, our lab had a great time. |
|
| Bugs: |
Black flies abundant. |

| Comments: |
Lightly traveled sections of the Saco River Trail near the Dry River Trail are pretty obscured by leaves, but the numerous blazes make the trail impossible to miss. The "boulder road" as the kids called it on the southern end of Saco presented some slick conditions as the rocks all have a good coating of moss on them and it had rained the night before. Nothing other than that to note. Just a good old fashioned red-line trip with the family. |
