Plan was to hike to Lunch Rocks. After the crossing of the Cutler River with the two bridges started to encounter snow.
After Hermit Lake there were brief periods of now. Microspikes not needed but poles helped. Periods of rock and snow (monorail) to base of Tuckerman's. Snow was soft in the Bowl but able to hike to Lunch Rocks to view the skiing action. |
