Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: First crossing may become a problem as ice weakens. Now snow & ice is 3-4'thick divided by the stream flow. Crossing 10 yards downstream is easier. The second crossing was open and easy.

Comments
Comments: Hillsounds to summit of Field, then snowshoes for the remainder. Trail across ridge was difficult to follow in a few places subjected drifting snow. For the most part though, the trail was broken out and firm. Though warm and sunny all day the lower stream crossing did not appear any higher at the end of the day. A party of two ahead of me went up the A-Z to Willey Range and went across to Field, then to Willey.
