One minor blowdown before the cabin. A few along the loop but easily passable. |

Easy trail for humans and dogs. The first half of the trail on the way to the cabin had plenty of small streams with all the rain lately and the time of year. We did not find the water source near the cabin. |

Black flies x 1,000,000. They weren't biting but extra protein. |

We enjoyed this hike up and down the smooth ski trail. We met the cabin inhabitants and then a group with at least 5 dogs. Everyone was well behaved and Frisco met a tiny beagle that was smaller than his tail. We did not find the water source near the cabin and were unsure if we had to venture farther past the disappearing path but decided to continue on our way. There is a toilet at the cabin. We ran down the lovely ski trail and then headed over to Doublehead for peak bagging. |
