Comments
Comments: 19 MT was hard packed and no postholing, even when I came out this PM (with a couple of mash potato spots but still no postholing). Wildcat Ridge Trail and some windblown powder at the beginning, then frozen. I started with Hillsounds, went with MSRs at WRT but quickly switched back..slide area one would need to use care and luckily someone had gone ahead of me and kicked out some steps..in this area poles were bouncing off the crust so one needs to take care and make sure poles are planted..I planted myself once on descent and landed slightly off the trail, where I was thankful for trees and breakable crust!!
