Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The Bald Cap Peak Ledges Trail (BCPLT) is in very good shape. Accessing the BCPLT involves hiking the Peabody Brook Trail (PBT). The PBT is in good shape beyond the spur trail to Giant Falls and slightly beyond up to the ladder which was newly replaced in Autumn 2018. HOWEVER, shortly beyond the ladder, the PBT is extremely overgrown, plus there are several downed trees. And, at the point where the PBT crosses Peabody Brook, one of the downed trees obscures the trail as well as the brook-crossing point.
