This is a weird place, development goes bad after millions spent on blasting, pavement and fencing. We cut behind the fence on the west side and climbed steeply on a foot path to the first bump of Mt. Miner, it is the bad boy party place. 4 footings from some sort of structure perhaps a viewing tower? remain and have plenty of spray paint tags on them and a fire pit surprisingly no beer cans or broken glass here (good bad boys) we headed north to the higher bump. We went through an opening in an old rugged fence with barbed wire strands on top, why is this here??? We continued to follow trail to the summit. Mt. Miner shares the Auburn high point status with two other bumps in town and we did Misery just before this and the other bump is on the NH Firetower list. We both can check off Auburn!
