Comments
Comments: Just one more thing...if I had looked at the NH F&G map and done some real planning I would have discovered there is a hiking trail off of Podunk Road that will take you near the summit, the more southern bump with recognized highpoint, benchmark and cairn is the town of Candia's high point. We started our whack just past an old barn cellar hole and went right up the mountain. Nice stone walls, abandoned haunted hunting camp and a state boundary marker we found along the way. Nearing the top it is steep. We appreciated the information in the register that this is a peak on the NH300 Most Prominent and how we learned about the trail from Podunk Road.
