Zealand road open. Plenty of parking. 1st car there at around 8:45am or so. |

Water was flowing on the two crossings but pretty easy to get across with careful foot placement. |

None during the hike. No bugs at the summit. A few annoying black flies in the parking lot on return in the afternoon. |

| Comments: |
Very pleasant day. Spent quite a bit of time at the top just hanging out. Took my time. There are a few short stretches towards the top of rotting snow/monorail. You could put on spikes for a couple of sections but very shortly you would be taking them off. Probably not worth it. Used spikes for one of the sections on the way up but didn't bother with them at all on the way down. |
