Unnamed hill, high point of Chester, NH
There is a spot elevation in the woods south of the road and then there is an equal contour reached at the end of the road. Along the road are no trespassing signs and then stop well before reaching the very cool radar tower, no prohibitions except no trespassing inside the fence at the tower. We walked into the woods and went to the spot elevation where there the highest area in the woods are a couple of big rocks, nothing exciting. We were convinced the site of the tower was higher but who knows for sure. Town of Chester high point. |
